I am relatively new to blogging and I doing everything I can to learn as quickly as possible and ensure I follow all of the guidelines to not only provide excellent content and value but also respect and enforce your privacy. What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect your name and email address through our email subscription box. We do this so we can send out great travel tips and content via email if you wish, but you can unsubscribe at any time. We are also registered with google analytics which means we collect data on how many people are visiting the website and a variety of other metrics. This helps us understand what content is doing well and what content may need improving. If you send us a message via the contact form then we keep it for 6 months to improve customer service but we would not use that information for marketing or distribute it to anyone. We also use plug-ins for this website and at the bottom of this policy, we have included their recommended text on privacy policy to be as transparent as possible on how this site functions.


When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We store contact form entries for 6 months and customer purchase records will be stored for ten years if we decide to incorporate an e-commerce function into the website.

If you have subscribed to our newsletter or if you are a member of our website (you can log in) or if you have purchased on our website, there is a good chance you will receive emails from us.

We will only send you emails that you have signed up to receive, or which pertain to the services we provided to you.
